Dentures.

They don’t only make you look good, they help you return to regular life. A good denture makes life a joy whether you are eating ice cream or steak or just relaxing with friends, they’re always comfortable. A well made set of dentures doesn’t look like false teeth but rather fills out your face and gives you a natural look in hopes that no one know you have dentures.

Every Step of the Way.

From case planning to appliance maintenance we are there to help every step along the way.

We make full and partial dentures from a number of materials depending on individual needs. Among our arsenal are full acrylic, flexible composite, or partials with a metal frame. Be it one tooth or 28 we have the perfect solution for you.

Full Dentures

A fully edentulous arch calls for a full denture. Using hi impact heat cure denture acrylic we create beautiful dentures that patients and doctors love. We realize some will do a few of these steps in office but we offer every piece needed for an excellent denture.

Not always necessary, but if you are looking for a lab technician’s input and opinion we have 60 years of that just a phone call away.

Stock dental trays can alter a natural edentulous ridge. Using a preliminary impression we will make a custom fitting impression tray.

Using the final cast from the impression with the custom tray we make a baseplate. Used as a base for the denture wax up it helps establish jaw relation.

To establish jaw relation we make an occlusal rim out of wax for doctor to contour and determine the facial, occlusal height, midline, high lip line, and cuspid eminence.

After receiving the adjusted wax rim we set all of the teeth, festoon, and return the fully waxed denture for doctor and patient to make any final adjustments. This is the best time to request changes in tooth shade, size, shape, or degree.

Some times multiple try-ins are necessary, but we would rather make many changes in wax as opposed to starting the over.

After a successful try in we process and finish the denture.

Partial Dentures

A partially edentulous arch calls for a partial denture. Using a variety of materials we can create a beautiful denture that is long lasting and ready for any adjustments in the foreseeable future.

For an extremely comfortable and functional fit and feel we can combine the different materials in a number of ways.

With so many variables involved you may benefit from a lab technicians input and opinion and we are just a phone call away.

In the case of partially edentulous ridges, stock dental trays rarely replicate the natural dentition. Using a preliminary impression we will make a custom fitting impression tray that reaches down into each saddle and allows for material overflow where teeth are present.

If the case calls for a chrome cobalt frame we have that made on the final casts and return the frame with wax blocks for a try in.

*This step is only needed when making an all acrylic partial.

Using the final cast from the impression with the custom tray we make a baseplate. Used as a base for the denture wax up it helps establish tooth relation.

*When using a CrCo frame we can go straight to a try in with teeth if called for.

To establish the relationship between natural and restorative  dentition we place wax blocks in the edentulous spaces. Either on the CrCo frame or the baseplate we make a partial occlusal rim out of wax for doctor to contour and determine any of the land marks not naturally present such as facial, occlusal height, midline, high lip line, and cuspid eminence.

After receiving the adjusted wax blocks we set all of the teeth, festoon, and return the fully waxed partial denture for doctor and patient to make any final adjustments. This is the best time to request changes in tooth shade, size, shape, or degree.

Some times multiple try-ins are necessary, but we would rather make many changes in wax as opposed to starting the process over.

After a successful try in we process and finish the partial with intent of an easy and beautiful appliance seating.

Maintenance

In the need of a denture directly following surgery, we can make and immediate denture be it a full or partial restoration. Using a model from an impression before any teeth are pulled we can craft a denture that not only looks good but helps the  healing process along. We take great care in creating our immediate’s so that once the healing process is finished we can reline it and the patient can have the same look with an excellent fit.
